isnt it interesting to think about who you'd invite to your wedding a few years down the road? look around at the current friends we have. i cant guarantee whether i'd remain in contact with most of them. i'm bad at keeping friends, i realise. =/ and when we get married in future, most people would be organising some sort of elaborate dinner to mark the special occasion. do we invite people whom we've not seen for years even? true, it might be a great time to catch up, but i haven't seen any wedding where people really catch up with each other on their lives. most of the people there don't even know each other or talk much!
and then there's our funerals. there's no invitation to funeral, its sort of free-and-easy. if you want to come, no one would stop you. many a times, i wonder to myself about what would happen if i die. i'm sure the world won't stop spinning and everything will continue as per normal. i'm just a very small and insignificant part in this big system. but will the people around me remember me? i do hope so.
but what i really want to know would be the kind of impression i've left on the people around me. what they think of me. if i were to die today, what would be your reaction? what kind of person would you remember me as?
