so rcup's come to a close. 3wins 3 losses 1 draw. 10th position, which is the same as shifu. haha wanni got 4th, nancy 6th, top three remains the same, hx 7th. all rather expected except for some noob who came in from backdoor. er xin. i cant stop ranting about it!! AHHHH. its so unfair la. but nevermind! i must think positive. there's still next year.. thanks to everyone who cheered me up, or hyped me up today before playing with fiona. haha actually i think i played okay, other than the 'changing pieces' part. cos everytime i change, always end up losing piece. haha count wrongly.. and this year's comp was very fun. cos most of us know each other already, then can talk and joke before and after our games. =D made some new friends along the way too.
the chess community is so small, and the girls', smaller still. it's nice to meet people with the same interests as you, and not have them ostracise you just because you play chess. wahlao, play chess means cannot play soccer meh, and vice versa.
went for lunch and movie afterwards. any movie's good if the company's great. but its really super funny la.. haha but really need to start saving. otherwise i'd be high dry before the month ends.
going to have to start mugging soon. :( my mum thinks i'm spending a wee too much time on cca though. i expect she'd want me to quit one of them. and if push comes to shove, i guess i'd have to make another decision again. sigh
and with the end of raffles cup, comes handover day soon. :( i dont want..
