it was close, we almost didnt make it to semis cos we needed to win by at least 3.5-1.5.. and the crunch was at the last game, when we played against RJ(A). luckily we managed a 4-1 win and proceeded on to semis with HCI. won RJ(B) and went on to meet AJ(A) in finals. well, at least we put up a good fight in the finals. (: yay! i feel very proud to be part of chess! heh
we won 100buckaroos. so all 10 of us who were there blew it on final destination3! haha the plot's predictable but i like the effects. gory!! then they went for dinner, while i headed to clarke quay to meet jo and watch 'never the sinner'.
the play's rather good. the defence counsel is damn good, i think. and the story's very touching. struck a chord. its a real story and all, and you can feel the actual emotions that coursed through Dicky and Babe. all in all, its really nice. =) oh yeah AC and RJ were there cos they had affilations to some of the cast.
YAY ytd was a great day. sm, must get ly to send us the pics! haha charyong cup next! =) i think i really learnt sth this compeition even though i won none of my games. wah felt so gek when my time ran out. :( it wont happen again! grrr
training tmr! competition's coming, both soccer and chess. must focus. my studies are like crap now. argh. perpetually falling asleep in chem. =/
a levels results out on wed! YES! haha(: i know i already said this like, 3237965865383625732 times to DC and sm. but still, WEDNESDAY!! ahhhhh
